nuestra gente adora “dioses”.

filosóficas dieron origen a varias religiones.

pies, brazos, ovarios, testículos, sistema digestivo, sistema

Ometeotl.

Nuestra madre, nuestro padre, suprema energía creadora.

“serpiente emplumada”. ¿Has visto una serpiente con plumas?. Por
supuesto que no, ellas no existen. La palabra Ketzalkoatl significa
“hermosa y venerable serpiente”.

¡KETZALKOATL NO

nahuas (aztecas, tezcocanos, cholultecas, tlaxcaltecas…), a

valiosas, a saber: fuentes primarias y secundarias, testimonios

Guzmán “ES ENTRE TODOS COMO SABREMOS TODO, Y ES ENTRE TODOS COMO

“Concha Michel –

Undoubtedly, the most popular and distorted conception (or
lie) about our people is that we worship many
gods as part of our ceremonies. History books are
filled with descriptions of the rain gods, sun gods, the
complete illustrations depicting bloody rituals
human sacrifices. In fact, nothing could be further from the
truth.

The absurd idea that we worshiped gods in any shape,
manner or form is a direct result of the inability to Spanish
understand the ideas and beliefs of our people. Using the sense
common and realistic interpretation of historical events,
we can know why many people still believe that
People love our “gods”.

When white men began to question the purpose of
its existence and accept his own mortality, their persecutions
philosophy gave rise to various religions. One of these religions
came to be known as Christianity, which is a product
Judaism direct. According to Christianity, man was
created by a powerful male god, who will judge
Based on how we obeyed as close to its laws.

Christians living supposedly trying to be as “good” as
possible, and do not be angry male god and be his
sent to hell as a result. The prime motivation behind his
religion is fear. The goodness because being nice is not
enough, that’s the fear of going to hell if they act in a
bad form ..

Fortunately, our ancestors took an approach
completely different from how they saw our role in the
universe. Using a system of constant observation, experimentation
and verification, our ancestors concluded that all within the
known universe is created by a living energy, energy
capable of giving life to all things, and cause our
destruction.

This dual energy permeates the cosmos and can be found in the most
small atomic particles. In the philosophy of the people of
Anauak, this energy, the creator of everything, is known as Ometeotl.
The word “Ome” means “two” or “dual” in our native language: the
Nahuatl, and “Teotl means cosmic energy.

The philosophy and traditions of our people have always been a
exact science, never a system guided by superstition
blindness, faith unlikely in a “mystery god” who controls
our destiny. This is a direct result of the dedication of
our ancestors to observe and understand the natural forces.
Our existence, together with the existence of the entire universe is
included in this dual power.

At the most basic level, this duality is expressed in our
appearance. After all, our bodies are composed of
two of the following: eyes, ears, lips, nostrils, hands,
feet, arms, ovaries, testes, digestive system, system
nervous, lungs, blood cells, and so on. The way in which
breathe is dual (inside-outside) and the heartbeat of our
heart.

To create the life requires an egg and sperm, and both
men and women contribute the same amount of chromosomes
(23) for the child. Our physical being is composed of protons (+),
electrons (-) and neutrons (balance, equilibrium). The fact
that women are obviously tied to the universe, each of them has
lunar cycle, a time when their energies are closely
linked with nature. Also protons and electrons revolve
around the nucleus in the same way they do the planets
around the sun, proving that our existence is woven into the
makes the cosmos. This is the reality of Ometeotl, anything
created in the known universe exists in each and every one of us.

“All they see your eyes, rocks, grass, flowers,
people, mountains, sky, animals, rivers and clouds,
everything, everything around us is and consists of parts and man
female parts. ”

– Concha Michel –

Our spiritual practices are not governed by the concept
simplistic to be good means to go to heaven, and be bad to go to
hell. Unlike Christianity that teaches that all have
born spiritually dead and sin, our forefathers
teach that we were all born in perfect harmony and balance with the
nature. The choices that we take throughout
our lives affect this balance, usually by creating disharmony in
our lives.

We have an understanding that as humans we are both good
and bad. Our responsibility as human beings is to
maintain a balance between the two. Why balance?. Because if you
you are very good you can become devoid of character and someone you
easily fooled, which is not healthy behavior.
Ditto if you’re so bad you become a destructive one.
This is like riding a bike, you must stay balanced or you
will fall on either side. This reality provides the basis for
our belief system, one aspect of Mexikayotl
(essence of Mexika).

But what about the rain god, the god of the sun and all
the variety of gods, which supposedly believe?. These are
physical and metaphorical representations of Ometeotl – dual energy
which exists in all things. It is this energy that is
manifested in the variety of forces of nature, and other
natural elements. Out of respect for these natural forces, and as a
how to recognize its importance in our existence, our
grandparents gave each event a name and a symbol for
represent.

When white men saw that we had an expression
philosophical and physical symbols to represent each of the
forces of nature, they chose to call them “gods.” Without a
complete understanding of our language, Spanish
distorted the word “Teotl” meaning “God”, perhaps
because it is similar in pronunciation to the Greek word for god
“Theos”. But to believe in “god” is a characteristic of people
primitive, and our ancestors were not primitive.

For example the water molecules are a manifestation of
Ometeotl. When the water molecules in the atmosphere collide and
together, they form raindrops. These raindrops then fall
on earth, penetrate it, the supply of nutrients for all
living things, while new life sparkle with life. In this
aspect, our ancestors called TLALOK rain, which
literally means “the liquor of the earth”, or “what drinks the
land “. Tlalok is the combination of two words, “Tlalli” in
Nahuatl is the earth, and “Oktli” meaning liquor. This name is not
just a beautiful metaphor, but also represents a practical
real nature.

Our ancestors were grateful for the energy received
by rain, and chose to worship this power to allocate certain
ceremonies for this. When we dance in honor of the rain,
we are not “praying for the rain god” as many
wish to believe, but we’re providing the energy created by
our rhythms and movements to Ometeotl, more creative energy
big. This is done as a sign of respect, in an attempt to
return some of the energy which gives us Tlalok therefore
creating harmony with the cosmos.

To raise our voice, hear a return to the flower and song, That
the crying becomes laughing, glad our hearts to create
the fantasy of colors that will light up the debris in this
world is based. Ometeotl.

Our mother, our father, the supreme creative energy.
Ehekatl-Ketzalkoatl The breath of life. In you is everything: life,
death, You are the eternal dialectic, which gives meaning to our
live. Eternal evolution alive today the cemetery where
rest, we the living dead Ometeotl, Hunab Ku,
Ipalnemouani Tiaui, tiaui …

– Baruch Martínez —

Another example of misrepresentation about our culture, is the
mystery about Ketzalkoatl return. First of all,
this should be clear: that does not translate as Ketzalkoatl
“Feathered serpent”. Have you seen a snake with feathers?. By
Of course not, they do not exist. The word means Ketzalkoatl
“Beautiful and venerable snake.” That comes from two words.
“Ketzalli” which means beautiful and venerable, and “Koatl” means
snake. In order to understand the meaning behind this
metaphorical expression, we must first understand the meaning
the serpent in our culture.

In Anauak traditional societies, the serpent was
considered a symbol of intelligence and wisdom. This was
because she had an intimate knowledge of the earth, and represents
the perfect dual nature of our existence. The snake has
two sexual organs, giving life to his many descendants, and sleep
coiled, representing the sacred circle of life. The snake
also sheds its skin, this culture of Anauak
represents the continuous transformation which all living things
suffer over time.

Also the movement of the snake is seen as a metaphor for
expressed by the energy. The snake represents our essence
natural, and in this respect, we continue to use the term
Koatl, or “buddy” in Spanish xikano as an expression of friendship and
loyalty.

Ketzalkoatl The term was a title given to men and women
who had transcended his humanity and achieved a close
understanding of land-much like a snake. NO KETZALKOATL
WAS A GOD!. Ketzalkoatl was a position embraced by those who
had reached a stage being illuminated. Perhaps the person most
famous who embraced Ketzalkoatl title was a man named Ze
Akatlar Topiltzin. But due to ignorance Spanish, has Ketzalkoatl
been mislabeled as a “man-god” who had promised to return
one day. When our ancestors talked of returning
Ketzalkoatl, they meant the return of this form of
thought-the return of the highest level of knowledge of our
reality. votre excellent example showing the significance of the
serpent in our culture is the term “Tonantzin-Koatlikue. This
expression which literally means “our mother. She who
wearing a skirt of snakes “is one of our names for the
land. We refer to land as Tonantzin our
mother “because the land is where we were born, is the land
providing us all and protects, and is in his loving arms where
back when our bodies pass away.

Koatlikue The term “Serpent Skirt” is an expression that
represents the living energy which covers the land area,
emanating from a stream of snakes in motion. This is the
Koatlikue Tonantzin philosophical expression, which has been
poorly characterized as the “goddess of the earth” by Europeans
ignorant.

We can only hope one day that the “experts” modern
in our history and culture find the truth about our
spiritual and philosophical traditions. Perhaps then the myth of
“Gods” among our people will finally be shattered. A
Nevertheless, it is our responsibility to learn about our
people. We must be sure that our true
traditions survive.

INTRODUCTION
The cosmogony of the men is an interesting source Anauak
knowledge about the relationship between humans and all
around him, we can find in it the harmony that should lead
in the universe by the laws that it provides us.

Unfortunately the thought of those men has been most
often distorted, either directly or indirectly.

First was the victim of stupidity by the invaders
Spanish instead of trying to understand what changed. Later
Time to touch them missionaries trapped in their prejudices
never came to understand the worldview of the great men of
Ixachilanka.

As the years have passed many researchers have tried to
see through the smoke screen that covers the thought
anauakatl.

Today most of us believe that almost everything has been said about
of the ancient inhabitants of these lands. In my opinion, I think
only been discovered some things about the culture of Anauak to
Despite the great certainty that scholars feel in relation to their
investigations.

Most of the errors lies, in my view,
in which students of the subject have always sought to seeing culture
Anauak eyes of outside it, and therefore with a view
West.

They include indigenous concepts in words that distort the meaning
original, disturbing and historical reality.

Yet few people realize this problem,
what if we find the solution, first we should get
aware of the existence.

Indeed some, perhaps most, of the researchers only
base their work on what is known as primary sources and
secondary, which in our case turn out to be the chronicles, codices
(which are often not read), and testimonies of Native
then.

I would add that from a very particular point of view most
of the authors of these writings were never understand so
clear preaméricano world thought. Nor do I mean
the above fact makes them useless as supporting material for
historian, but I think they should follow a more rigorous
in their management.

I would also say that the experts should come closer to knowing the
oral tradition still exists even today in parts of
Mexihko perhaps discover, as one day I realized that this
could be a new source to enter the world of men
of Anauak.

In this way perhaps avoiding the errors over
time have become truths. Another point to be instrumental in
reinterpretation of history, will be free from prejudices and
atavism we bring into our backs, the latter products
the result of Westernization to the invader and we proceeded
continues to do so, to avoid the inevitable reunion with our
self.

I say it is necessary to divest himself of prejudice, because they have
created myths Anauak history, and that hinders us
We try to know this thought. This would have created
myths about gods, human sacrifice, empires, militarism,
etc. And today it is necessary to cleanse our minds of all those
absurd.

Beyond those clarifications I would go to state
some details of the Anauak worldview. It is very important to say
anauakatl that thought is based on a dual principle that
is none other than the universe. This dual principle was not particularly
of one people, all over the continent of duality Ixachilanka
directed the lives of its inhabitants. Proof of this is given by the
Portilla historian when he says:

People of various activities in the field of culture were the
Nahua (Aztecs, Tezcocans, Cholula, Tlaxcala …), to
early sixteenth century. Established on various dates in the great
Valley of Mexico and its environs – united by the bond of
Nahuatl or Mexican, had inherited not only many of the ideas
and traditions, but also some of the extraordinary creativity
of the ancient Toltecs.

In fact it is a misconception in different cultures, because basically
his thought was similar, and indeed, the hues became
geographic location of the group in question. To cite an example
let it suffice to mention the Mayans, they called this principle Hunab Ku,
donor of the measure and movement, and it represented a
square inside a circle.

The circle is the symbol of “all things” … Well ok
imagine a line that includes everything … but at the same time, IS
SYMBOL ONE THING … It is a unique figure !!!!… As
so is the symbol of ALL IN ONE … That is the concept or idea that
all phenomena of the universe … to include … IN UNIT

And the men of Anauak thought the duality of the circle was the
square, therefore, these two figures represented the Hunab Ku. A
From this principle all the events that generated
researchers call “gods”. These are but
Ometeotl extensions.

And we must clarify that this generative principle of all being not
has nothing to do with the idea of a Western God. In fact the
no word god in there native language, once thought to
“Teotl” meant God for what has been incurring
errors. The word “Teotl” means energy as ever and has
bring the study of language Nauatl Victor Aguirre Linares.
Suffice it here to cite only a few lines of maestro Arturo Meza:

Antonin Artaud says that there is no god-language term
Rarámuri; us in our fieldwork, we have not found a
equivalent to name only Judeo-Christian God in any language
native. If there is neither the word nor the concept in the languages
and native thought, why take the word Mexican teotl,
as a translation of God. Teotl is very similar to the Greek Theos
Latin Deus. Your misuse since the sixteenth century is due to
ignorance of the ancient Nahuatl language, and the comfort of the
columnists, commentators and later historians, who
Teotl thought they had found in the divine origin of the Indian gods
whose names beginning or ending in that particle, were
thus elevated to the status of deities.

As mentioned above, we can say that concepts brought by the
European invaders have nothing to do with thinking the world
pre-Kuauhtemiko. So we are in error if
trying to explain the native world with eyes and perspective
West. This is exactly what we intend to
wanting to regain both the history and thinking Anauak.

Although not this mean that everything written and researched
is wrong is not our intention to judge ourselves and discard all
until today it achieved. In fact we believe it has been made in
anauakatl the study of thought, especially the issue of
for it is some work that a series of unique sources very
valuable, namely primary and secondary sources, testimonies
archaeological and oral tradition in a way
systematized.

This is very important because with this type of
Research has been running the veil, and in some
even if covered, the significance of indigenous symbols. Since
invaders, and later left the friars only such symbols as
simple “deities” and never dare to penetrate its deepest and
true meaning. It should also be remembered that Western culture is
diametrically opposed to the culture of Anauak.

In fact, in the territory of Anahuac was diversity of language,
but among all the indigenous languages, as among Europeans,
if equivalence was between sense, but between the language of the
Europeans at the anahuac There is no equivalence, ie
having no identity of thought there can be no translation
accurate. They correspond to two different developments of culture,
content, especially in political matters completely varies
although the terms may have literal translation

So we must be careful when we try to explain a
concept of preamericanos. That said, we will only say that it is very
important to study the culture that spawned us, and that
often without knowing it still governs much of our
daily activities. But many see with sadness that
denigrates it, and most of the time we want to emphasize one
superiority of other thoughts about the existing here.

Already in another article I mentioned the importance of knowing the past
of our people to be free of the yoke so that 500 years ago
Western civilization imposed on us. Yugo will lead us
inevitably to the destruction of ourselves if we do not change
course of this project bastard that drives capitalism: “WAR
Of all against all. ”

I stress, perhaps with exaggeration, the importance of studying the
Anauak thought of as a fundamental part of developing a
culture based on sharing and pooling the efforts
of all. Because as we ever said Artemio Solis Temaztiani
Guzman “IS AMONG ALL AS WE KNOW EVERYTHING, AND IS AMONG ALL AS
WE WILL DO EVERYTHING. ”

So that if we see shining the light of Father Sun,
illuminating the faces of our children we should try
Giordiano know the knot of the problem: ignorance of thought
anauakatl.

The history of Anahuac is a wonderful spring and we are encouraged
illuminates revealing the importance of our mission in this life and
fills us with satisfaction in making us partners and successors of
the work culture we have inherited from our parents to sublimate
and perfect with our own practice. Is actually
Anahuac history of cultural heritage we have inherited and that
we must preserve, grow and expand, accurate index of our
own value in the development of human life and true aspiration
of knowledge to achieve understanding ourselves
