Join expert vegetarian chef Very Reverend Lupita Dias Porta for a workshop in cooking vegetarian a la mexicana! Lupita will share the secrets to creating some of the most delicious “antiojitos mexicanos” including: tacos, flautas, burritos, enchiladas, tostadas, quesadillas, gorditas, arepas, salsas, stews, picaditas and guacamole. Participants will have the opportunity to assist in food preparation and to sample the food made in class.

We invite you to join us at the blessing and soft opening of Greenpoint’s vegetarian restaurant, Jungle Cafe! Many members of the NYC Initiatic College have been working hard to prepare the restaurant to serve consciously prepared delicious food. Maestro Domingo, Maestro Manuel and Sister Lupita will lead the blessing and food will be served with love!
